Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic

Salary: £38,000 Basic Salary Depending on Experience | OTE £60,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you'll play a key role in keeping customers safely on the road by delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities include:
• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining manufacturer standards
• Carrying out vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required
• Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards
• Completing workshop documentation and job cards accurately
• Working closely with the wider workshop team to maintain productivity and deliver outstanding workmanship
About You
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years' workshop experience within the automotive industry
• Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills
• MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
• Your own tools and toolbox
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
• A positive attitude, excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
