Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician role in Nottingham. The successful Service Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, repairs, and maintenance to a diverse range of vehicles, ensuring all work complies with manufacturer standards.

Benefits of the Vehicle Technician:

Basic salary of £38,000 with the potential to earn up to £41,000 OTE
Permanent, full-time employment in a well-established dealership
Manufacturer training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills
Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, with every other Saturday, 8:30am–12:30pm

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

Conduct vehicle servicing, routine maintenance, and inspections
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults accurately
Complete scheduled repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
Identify additional work requirements through comprehensive vehicle inspections
Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and organisation
Ensure high standards of quality and efficiency in all tasks

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

Level 3 qualification in vehicle repair and maintenance
Proven experience in a dealership or busy workshop setting
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
