We’re looking for a Sector Insights Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping how Saint-Gobain understands and responds to the needs of our customers and markets.
Working as part of the Commercial Sector team and building relationships with the individual Saint-Gobain Brands, you’ll use research, analysis and insight to build a deep understanding of customer behaviours, needs and success factors. You’ll help translate that understanding into clear opportunities that inform sector strategies, strengthen our value propositions, and support the development of future solutions across Saint-Gobain UK brands.
After identifying and quantifying opportunities, you will work with the innovation and solutions teams to develop customer‑led solutions, acting as the voice of the customer through concept development and testing.
This is a full-time permanent role offering hybrid working, with occasional travel for collaboration, successful candidates will need to possess a full UK driving license.
What we’re looking for:
- Is analytical and naturally curious, with the ability to turn complex and diverse information into clear, actionable insight
- Takes a proactive approach to insight gathering and development, finding new ways to target and access the information needed.
- Has experience working in a customer insight or research-focused role, using both qualitative and quantitative methods
- Can communicate findings clearly and confidently to a range of stakeholders
- Is comfortable operating in exploratory environments and shaping opportunities from open-ended challenges
- Is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple streams of work simultaneously
What you will be doing:
- Developing sector and customer insight through a range of research methods, building a deep understanding of needs, behaviours and success factors
- Creating customer and sub-sector profiles that inform sector strategy and proposition development
- Supporting sector strategy by translating insight into clear opportunities and recommendations
- Working with internal teams to shape compelling value propositions and innovation opportunities
- Supporting new proposition development by bringing the customer voice into design, testing and iteration
- Producing clear, concise insight outputs that inform decision-making across the business
