Central London (hybrid – 4 days in office)

This is a newly created role with a global banking group, offered on a hybrid basis from its Central London office, paying up to £70,000 plus bonus and benefits. Please note this role does not offer visa sponsorship.

The Opportunity
  • Join a well-capitalised, international banking group in a growing London operation, working closely with senior stakeholders in Operations, Risk and Procurement.
  • Play a key role in strengthening third-party, outsourcing and vendor oversight across the UK business, with clear visibility to senior management.
  • Enjoy a hybrid working pattern from Central London, with a competitive package up to £70,000 + bonus + benefits (no sponsorship available).
The Role

This position sits within the Operational Resilience / Third Party Management function and focuses on the end‑to‑end lifecycle of vendors and outsourced providers. The role combines hands‑on vendor on-boarding and contract management with performance monitoring, risk assessment and continuous improvement of processes. Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Managing on-boarding and off-boarding of vendors and suppliers, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to policy and regulatory standards.
  • Supporting vendor due diligence and risk assessments, including documentation, approvals and ongoing monitoring of key third parties.
  • Assisting with drafting, negotiating and managing vendor contracts, tracking renewals and expiries and ensuring obligations are met.
  • Coordinating performance reporting for critical suppliers, tracking SLAs, service quality, costs and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Helping identify sourcing opportunities and supporting tenders to ensure value for money and robust supplier selection.
  • Ensuring vendor management practices reflect current regulatory expectations for outsourcing and third‑party risk within financial services.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in vendor, contract, procurement or third‑party management, ideally within banking or broader financial services.
  • Strong understanding of vendor lifecycle processes (on-boarding, due diligence, contracting, monitoring, off-boarding) and associated risks.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Comfortable analysing data and MI to track performance, identify trends and support decision‑making on vendor strategy and cost savings.
  • Well organised, methodical and able to manage multiple vendors, deadlines and priorities in a controlled, compliant manner.
  • Eligibility:
Candidates must have current UK right to work; sponsorship will not be provided.
How to Apply

If you have at least a minimum of two years’ vendor or contract management experience in financial services and want to step into a more senior, visible role in the UK operation of a global banking group, please send an up‑to‑date CV outlining your relevant experience.
