A strategic opportunity is available for a results-driven Business Development Consultant to accelerate our growth across the UK healthcare sector. Working 2-3 days per week at our offices in Nottinghamshire, we are seeking a commercially minded professional with a proven track record in B2B sales, client acquisition, and partnership development ideally within health and social care.
With over 25 years of experience delivering specialist support to clients with complex needs, we are positioned for expansion. This role is central to driving that growth, strengthening our market presence, and securing long-term commercial relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities across the UK healthcare landscape.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Social Workers, Case Managers, hospitals, residential services, and nursing homes.
- Conduct targeted outreach via online professional networks, email, telephone, and in-person or virtual meetings.
- Analyse client needs and present tailored service solutions aligned with organisational capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Operations and Recruitment to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
- Support marketing initiatives, including social media activity and service promotion.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and online forums.
- Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Acquisition, or Strategic Partnerships.
- Background in healthcare and social care is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and operate with commercial discipline.
- High level of proficiency in English and strong research and lead-generation capabilities.
