Location: United Kingdom – Remote/Hybrid
Are you a Lean-thinking, process excellence professional who uses data to solve problems and uncover opportunity, backed by strong operational experience? Do you want to influence both day-to-day performance and long-term strategy in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment? In this role, you'll work at the heart of our Operations Development team within the General Merchandising and Home Services channel, shaping impactful business plans, driving innovation, and engaging a wide range of stakeholders to deliver meaningful change across our network.
As part of DHL Supply Chain, you'll play a critical role in continuously improving one of the UK's most advanced and high-performing networks. You'll lead initiatives that enhance performance, reduce cost, and embed best-in-class operational thinking across multi-site operations. We're looking for someone with a passion for continuous improvement, strong FMCG and supply chain understanding, and a proven track record of delivering results through process, technology, and people development.
Whatyou’ll do
- Drive end-to-end supply chain optimisation by combining analytics, operational insight, and E2E costing methodologies to identify cost reduction opportunities
- Lead and embed cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovation, automation, and practical operational improvements across sites
- Own and deliver the continuous improvement (CI) programme, ensuring successful deployment of OMS and FCB across the network
- Develop, justify, and implement strategic projects, creating robust business cases and tracking financial benefits realised
- Produce customer-facing insights and recommendations, using data-driven analysis to build trust and influence decision-making
- Support account growth and renewals through opportunity identification, high-level cost modelling, and showcasing DHL value propositions
- Strong knowledge of CI and Lean principles, including tools like value stream mapping and activity-based costing
- Solid operational experience across supply chain, warehousing, or transport environments
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Proven influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to overcome barriers and drive change cross-functionally
- Experience delivering change programmes, including automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Flexibility and resilience, with a proactive attitude and willingness to travel nationally to support multi-site operations
