We have an exciting new opportunity for a Company Secretary Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with detail, takes pride in being organised, and wants to develop a career in corporate governance. A law or business degree would be advantageous, but most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is professional, proactive, and eager to learn.
The Company Secretarial Team supports the Board of Directors of Games Workshop Group PLC and is responsible for helping ensure that we maintain high standards of corporate governance, compliance and regulatory reporting. You will play an important role in supporting the team and helping ensure that our statutory and governance obligations are met across the Group.
In this role, you will assist with statutory filings and submissions, help maintain company records and statutory registers, and support the preparation and filing of resolutions, minutes and changes to company information. You will also assist with the coordination of Board and Committee meetings, support the planning and administration of Annual General Meetings, and help maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including Closed Period procedures and Market Abuse Regulation obligations.
Alongside this, you will help maintain Insider and PDMR records, support the management of the Investor Relations website, and respond to KYC and identity verification requests from banks, financial institutions and public authorities.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be passionate about doing the right thing for our business at all times, highly organised, as there will be multiple priorities, and comfortable working with confidential information. You should be someone who enjoys getting the details right, communicates effectively and can build strong working relationships with staff at all levels of the business.
You will be proactive in your approach, willing to take ownership of your work and motivated to find better ways of doing things.
Experience working in a legal, governance, or professional services environment, or in a company secretarial function, would be beneficial. Corporate Governance Institute training or related qualifications would also be an advantage, but we are equally interested in candidates with the right attitude and potential to develop.
