Office Administrator/ Coordinator
As a General Administrator, for this 12 months fixed term contract, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Clare Lodge Secure Children's Home, ensuring the service runs efficiently and effectively. You will provide high‑quality administrative support across a range of core business functions, including reception, communications, data management, and record keeping.
Acting as a first point of contact, you will handle a variety of enquiries—some of which may be complex or sensitive—while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. You will support the coordination of meetings and statutory processes, produce accurate reports and documentation, and maintain key systems such as Clear Care and Rota Master.
This is a varied and fast‑paced role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will also support recruitment processes, contribute to performance monitoring, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to help the service meet its operational and regulatory requirements.

We are a collaborative, fast‑paced team providing essential administrative, financial, and operational support to frontline care, education, and clinical colleagues. Working closely with multidisciplinary professionals, we support everything from recruitment and data management to statutory meetings and performance reporting.
The team is committed to high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service, often managing sensitive information and complex enquiries with care and resilience. We pride ourselves on being a supportive and adaptable team, where colleagues work together to meet the needs of the home and achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
We are looking for a highly organised and reliable individual with a strong administrative background and a commitment to delivering high‑quality support within a busy environment. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and manage sensitive or complex enquiries in a professional and calm manner.
You will be comfortable managing a varied workload, using your initiative to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Strong IT skills are essential, particularly in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
Experience of working within a multi‑disciplinary setting is desirable, along with an understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and effective customer service. Most importantly, you will be adaptable, resilient, and committed to supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
