Start your career in procurement, purchasing and product management while gaining a professional qualification in a fast-growing technology business.
What is Purchasing?Have you ever wondered how products end up on a website, in a warehouse, or available for customers to buy?
Purchasing plays a key role in making that happen. It's about working with suppliers to source products, ensuring the right stock is available at the right time, negotiating costs, analysing data, and supporting decisions that help a business grow.
As a Purchasing Apprentice, you'll gain hands‑on experience across purchasing, product management and supply chain operations, learning how products move from initial sourcing and supplier selection through to launch, pricing, stock management and eventual end‑of‑life planning.
You'll work alongside experienced colleagues across Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations, developing valuable commercial skills while completing a professional Procurement Apprenticeship.
No previous purchasing experience is required. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, willingness to learn and enthusiasm for building a career.
Is This Role Right for You?This could be a great opportunity if you:
- Are interested in business, technology, purchasing or supply chains.
- Enjoy working with numbers, data and problem-solving.
- Like planning, organising and keeping things on track.
- Are naturally curious and enjoy learning how things work.
- Enjoy building relationships and communicating with different people.
- Want to develop commercial skills that can lead to a variety of career opportunities.
- Are looking for a role that combines business, technology, analysis and relationship management.
As your knowledge and experience grow, you'll become involved in:
- Supporting the management of technology products and supplier relationships.
- Learning how products are sourced, purchased and brought to market.
- Helping to manage stock levels and ensuring products are available when customers need them.
- Assisting with product launches, pricing updates and product lifecycle activities.
- Analysing sales, stock and performance data to support business decisions.
- Researching new technologies, products and market trends.
- Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams.
- Building relationships with suppliers and technology vendors from around the world.
- Learning how international supply chains operate, including products sourced from global markets.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine interest in technology, business or procurement.
- Is eager to learn and develop new skills.
- Has strong attention to detail.
- Enjoys working with numbers and analysing information.
- Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Communicates confidently and professionally with others.
- Is proactive, motivated and willing to take ownership of their work.
- Has good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
While not essential, it would be beneficial if you also have:
- Experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Previous customer service, retail, administration or office experience.
- An interest in technology products and how businesses operate.
- Experience working with data, reports or spreadsheets.
As part of this role, you'll undertake a structured Procurement Apprenticeship designed to develop both your practical workplace experience and professional knowledge.
You’ll benefit from:
