We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join a commercial construction project on a freelance basis. Projects may include fit-out, shell & core, office blocks, retail centres, or mixed-use developments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all electrical activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and supervise all electrical works on site, including electricians and subcontractors

* Interpret and manage drawings, specifications, and electrical designs

* Ensure installations comply with current regulations, standards, and project requirements

* Carry out regular site inspections and quality control checks

* Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and other trade supervisors

* Enforce health & safety procedures, ensuring RAMS, PPE, and safe systems of work are in place

* Review and manage testing, inspection, and commissioning documentation

* Monitor progress against programme, identify risks or delays, and escalate where necessary

* Assist with snagging, defect resolution, and final handover documentation

* Maintain accurate site records, including daily/weekly reports, timesheets, and material usage

Requirements

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Electrical Supervisor or Site Manager role

* Proven experience delivering commercial or industrial electrical projects

* Valid ECS Gold Card

* SSSTS (or SMSTS preferred)

* Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and site management processes

* Excellent communication and coordination skills

* Full UK Driving Licence
