TheOpportunity
As part of the Nottingham-based Cost Management team, you'll deliver pre and post-contract quantity surveying services across a varied portfolio including education, healthcare, residential, commercial, industrial, heritage and public sector developments. The business places a strong emphasis on collaborative working, client relationships and professional development, making it an ideal environment for someone looking to accelerate their consultancy career.
This role is particularly suited to a Quantity Surveyor who feels ready for greater responsibility but wants the support, mentoring and exposure needed to progress into a Senior QS position over the coming years.
What You'll Be Doing- Delivering pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services.
- Preparing cost plans, estimates and feasibility studies.
- Managing procurement and tender processes.
- Contract administration across JCT and NEC forms.
- Cost reporting, valuations and final accounts.
- Working closely with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Supporting junior team members while developing your own leadership skills.
- Consultancy Quantity Surveying experience.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Working towards, or already achieved, MRICS (support available where required).
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Experience across a range of building sectors would be advantageous.
- Clear progression pathway to Senior Quantity Surveyor and future leadership opportunities.
- Diverse project portfolio across both public and private sectors.
