This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join a well-established multidisciplinary construction consultancy with a strong pipeline of infrastructure, residential and commercial projects across both the public and private sectors. The successful Assistant Project Manager will work alongside experienced Project Managers and Cost Managers, gaining exposure to projects of varying size and complexity while receiving structured mentoring, professional development and support towards chartership.

As the Assistant Project Manager, you will support both pre-contract and post-contract project management services across a diverse portfolio of building and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities will include preparing project programmes, maintaining risk registers, attending client and site meetings, producing reports, monitoring project progress and assisting with contract administration.
The Assistant Project Manager will help coordinate stakeholders, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, undertake site inspections, monitor project milestones and ensure projects are delivered to agreed timescales and quality standards. You ll be encouraged to take ownership of your workload while receiving ongoing guidance from experienced Project Managers as your responsibilities develop.
To be considered for this Assistant Project Manager position, you should have:- Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager within a construction consultancy.
- A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or another construction-related discipline.
- An understanding of JCT and/or NEC forms of contract.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using Microsoft Project, Word and Excel.
- A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to progress towards chartership (APM, RICS or CIOB).
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
- £30,000 - £40,000
