Estimator - Demolition
Location:

Salary: £50,000-£55,000

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join an established demolition and strip-out contractor based in Nottingham.
The company operates nationwide, with the majority of its work across the Midlands, delivering projects ranging from small works through to approximately £1m.
The Role- Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for demolition and strip-out projects
- Review tender enquiries, drawings, specifications and scopes of work
- Produce detailed take-offs and pricing
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Assess project risks, costs and requirements
- Assist with tender submissions and commercial negotiations
- Work across industrial, commercial and residential projects
- Predominantly deal with internal strip-outs and demolition works
- Manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
- Support the business in securing new work
- Projects typically range from £1,000 to £1m
- Nationwide operations, with a strong Midlands focus
- Work closely with the operational team to ensure accurate project handovers
- Previous estimating experience within demolition is highly desirable
- Experience with in strip-out, enabling works or a related construction sector will be considered
- Strong understanding of demolition methodologies and associated costs
- Ability to interpret drawings and project specifications
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
- Ideally based within commuting distance of Nottingham
Salary: £50,000-£55,000 depending on experience.
