Freelance Video Editor

This role is ideal for a skilled freelance video editor with a strong background in content editing for digital platforms. You will be responsible for refining and enhancing a variety of video and written materials to ensure they align with brand standards and engage audiences effectively. The position involves working on both short-form and long-form content, including Tik Tok, Reels, Shorts, advertisements, and campaign videos.

You will collaborate remotely, managing your workflow independently while meeting tight deadlines and responding to feedback efficiently.

• Edit and polish video content for multiple platforms, ensuring clarity, consistency, and high production value.
• Add subtitles, transitions, basic motion graphics, sound effects, and background music as required.
• Proofread and refine captions, scripts, and on-screen text to maintain brand voice and accuracy.
• Adapt content to meet platform-specific requirements and brand guidelines.
• Implement revisions based on team feedback and deliver final assets within agreed timelines.

• Proven experience in video editing for social media platforms (Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, You Tube Shorts, etc.).
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong attention to detail in both visual and written content.
• Ability to create engaging motion graphics and integrate sound elements.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience proofreading and editing written content, including captions and scripts.
• Familiarity with brand guidelines and adapting content for different audiences.
• Reliable internet connection and availability to deliver projects on schedule.
