Apprenticeship Overview

This apprenticeship is a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification with Enable Futures and Lovell, lasting 12 months plus an End Point Assessment (EPA). The role is full‑time, working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, with a weekly wage of £317, including a travel allowance. It offers the opportunity to gain practical experience while developing skills in customer service, housing, and construction.

Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Resident Liaison Officer, the successful candidate will act as a key link between Lovell and residents affected by housing improvement and regeneration projects. The role focuses on ensuring residents are well‑informed, supported, and satisfied throughout the process. Responsibilities include communicating project updates, arranging appointments and home visits, assisting with resident inductions, and providing support before, during, and after works take place.

Tasks and Community Interaction

The apprentice will also help maintain resident records using company systems, prepare communications and project documentation, attend community events and meetings, and assist in resolving customer concerns and complaints. A major part of the role involves building positive relationships with residents, understanding their individual needs, and ensuring they receive appropriate support while projects are underway.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least three GCSEs, including Maths and English at Grade 4 or above, along with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Lovell is looking for someone with a professional manner who can communicate confidently with people from all backgrounds. A driving licence is desirable but not essential. This apprenticeship would suit someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and is interested in a career in customer service, housing, or community engagement.
