Main duties of the job
This is a Self‑Employed Dental Hygienist position working 27 hours per week on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 8:30am – 5:30pm. The practice offers a fully booked patient list and immediate earning opportunities.
Appointments are structured to allow quality patient care:
- 20‑minute routine hygiene appointments
- 30‑minute appointments for more extensive scaling and periodontal treatment
Queens Road Dental Practice values collaboration, transparency and an inclusive work environment. We support our staff with dedicated hygiene surgery, chairside nursing and a team of four other hygienists.
Job responsibilities• Conduct routine hygiene procedures and advanced periodontal treatments.
• Provide prevention and patient education to ensure optimal oral health.
• Develop and maintain long‑term patient relationships.
• Work independently as a self‑employed hygienist while receiving full support from the practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and improve patient care.
• Full diary with established patient base.
• Dedicated surgery and dedicated nurse support.
• Private‑focused patient list with a family‑oriented demographic.
