Locum Dentist

Flourish Medical is on the lookout for an experienced Locum Dentist to support a network of thriving NHS and mixed dental practices across the Nottingham area
. If you're a GDC-registered dentist with an NHS Performer Number and want flexibility, great daily rates, and the chance to work across a variety of clinical environments - this could be the perfect fit.

You’ll be based in modern, fully equipped practices, working alongside welcoming, supportive teams and delivering both NHS and private care to well-established patient lists.

You must have the right to work in the UK and solid UK dental experience. Unfortunately, applications that don't meet these criteria won't be considered.

• Flexible shifts to suit your schedule across Nottingham and nearby areas
• Excellent day rates of £450-£550
• Access to high-spec, digital practices (including scanners, digital X-rays, and rotary endo)
• Friendly, experienced teams who've got your back- clinically and administratively
• Travel costs covered for certain sites
• Full clinical freedom, including choice of labs and materials
• The chance to work across a mix of NHS, private, and mixed practices- keeping things varied and interesting

• GDC registration
• An active NHS Performer Number (preferred)
• A minimum of 1 year's UK post-qualification experience
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑first mindset
• Confidence delivering both NHS and private treatments
• A reliable, professional, and adaptable approach

• Deliver high-quality NHS and private dental care
• Maintain and build patient relationships and lists
• Spot opportunities for private treatments and offer tailored solutions
• Provide treatments including crowns and retainers where needed
• Keep clear, accurate, and compliant clinical records
• Work closely with a supportive, collaborative dental team

You’ll be working across well-established practices in Nottingham and the surrounding areas, known for delivering high standards of care and building lasting patient relationships. Expect modern tech, busy patient lists, and a consistent, rewarding workflow-ideal for locums who enjoy variety without sacrificing stability.

Commutable locations include Beeston, West Bridgford, Arnold, Mansfield, Newark-on-Trent
