Clinical Dental Technology Course Lead

This academic post sits in the Academic/Research division of the University of Central Lancashire and leads the Clinical Dental Technology and Dental Technology courses. The role covers curriculum development, teaching, assessment, student success and employability, alongside building the School's research and scholarly activity. It is a senior lecturer post for someone with module leadership experience in higher education. Applicants must be GDC-registered dentists in good standing and hold an Advance HE teaching qualification or Fellowship.

• Academic leadership, coordination and ongoing development of the Clinical Dental Technology and Dental Technology curricula

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject
• Formal teaching qualification or Fellowship (Descriptor
  2) of Advance HE

• Current GDC registration as a Dentist, in good standing

• Teaching and module leadership within higher education

• Thorough understanding of Clinical Dental Technology and Dental Technology, their contemporary challenges and future direction
