We have a team of 8 GP Partners and currently 4 salaried GPs who would be happy to share their experience of working at Lombard with you.
We are looking to welcome a dedicated Salaried GP who is newly qualified in the last 2 years to our clinical team. We offer a positive and collaborative environment where you can thrive professionally and personally.

Main duties of the jobYour Role:
- Provide high-quality, patient‑centred clinical care
- Participate in duty doctor rota and clinical meetings
- Support continuity of care and proactive management of chronic conditions
- Engage in continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Option to take on a clinical special interest or teaching role if desired
- Training practice both GPs, medical students and Nursing placements

- PCN support care home teams, advance visiting service
- Regular meetings schedules and plenty of social events.
- Conduct face‑to‑face, telephone, and online consultations for acute, chronic, and preventive care.
- Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and appropriate referrals where necessary.
- Manage long‑term conditions in line with QOF, local and national guidelines.
- Prescribe medicines and treatments in accordance with evidence‑based practice and legal frameworks.
- Undertake clinical procedures within scope of practice (e.g. joint injections, minor surgery if applicable).
- Carry out home visits when required.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation of consultations and care using the clinical system (e.g. EMIS, Systm One).
- Participate in the duty doctor rota and urgent care provision.
- Review and act on pathology, imaging, and specialist reports.
- Complete medical reports, forms, and referrals as required.
- Support with repeat prescribing and medicines reconciliation.
- Contribute to audit, quality improvement initiatives, and significant event reviews.
- Attend and contribute to clinical and practice meetings.
- Supervise and support the training and development of students or junior staff (if applicable).
- Participate in continuing professional development (CPD) and maintain revalidation requirements.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, pharmacists, paramedics, and allied health professionals.
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- MRCGP (or working towards it)
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Included on, or eligible for, the NHS England Medical Performers List
- Experience of working in primary care, including during GP training
- Ability to manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions
- Evidence of safe prescribing and decision‑making
- Strong consultation, diagnostic, and clinical decision‑making skills
