Person specification Professional Qualification / registration Essential criteria- Full GMC
- Eligible for specialist register
- CCT / Portfolio Pathway registration expected within 6 months of interview date
- FRCS (Plast) or equivalent
- Higher specialist degree
- Fellowship-level experience or equivalent in adult and/or paediatric burns surgery and burns reconstruction.
- Evidence of technical skills appropriate to the job description
- Able to communicate effectively and appropriately with patients, families and other health professionals.
- Fellowship-level experience or equivalent in orthoplastic reconstruction, hand surgery, skin cancer, breast reconstruction or another complementary specialist interest.
- Able to work flexibly in a changing health service
- Able to participate in on‑call rota
- Able to teach and support junior staff effectively.
