Locum Consultant Plastic Surgeon; Sarcoma, Lower Limb Trauma)

• GMC with licence to practice
• Currently on or eligible to be included on the Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery
• CCT / Portfolio Pathway registration expected within 6 months of interview date

• FRCS (Plast) or equivalent

• Higher degree

• Dedicated fellowship in soft tissue sarcoma surgery & reconstruction or equivalent experience.
• Experience of orthoplastic reconstruction in a major trauma centre or Orthoplastic fellowship
• Able to communicate effectively and appropriately with patients, their families and other health professionals

• Documented logbook evidence of more than 20 microvascular reconstructions as first operator. (Please upload anonymised pages from logbook with application)
• Documented logbook evidence of more than 10 soft tissue sarcoma resections as first operator. (Please upload anonymised pages from logbook with application)
• Sarcoma MDT

• Able to develop, present and ope rationalise coherent ideas for service development/delivery
• able to work in a team
• Able to travel between sites

• Evidence of leadership in the development of clinical services
• Experience of change management
