The successful applicants will be expected to
Support the delivery of a high quality 24-hour Anaesthetic service, including participation in out of hours rotas, covering EPOC (Enhanced Perioperative Care unit), Obstetrics, and Critical Care, in addition to General (Anaesthesia) duties
To work flexibly when required and depending upon demand

We are offering one Anaesthetic Senior Trust Grade job at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a fixed term post for 12 months to cover Resident gaps and includes participation in the 2nd on-call Resident rota at one or other campus. Applicants should have full GMC registration with a licence to practise, at least 5 years of anaesthetic experience with significant and recent experience in a UK anaesthetic department, and have passed the Royal College of Anaesthetists Final FRCA examination or other Test of Knowledge accepted by the RCoA

There are two campuses, situated 5 miles apart in the heart of Nottingham, with 47 theatres covering all surgical specialties.
o Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) is the acute setting and supports a substantial surgical workload including neurosurgery, spinal surgery, head and neck, hepatobiliary and colorectal surgery. Italso houses the region's only Major Trauma Centre, Emergency Department, Children'sHospital, Treatment Centre, Trent Simulation Centre and Medical School
o Nottingham City Hospital (NCH) delivers planned care and is where cardiac, thoracic, urology, the majority of cancer surgery and renal transplants are undertaken.
