Position: Cover SupervisorEDV/2025/BS/32310
Location: West Bridgford

We are looking for a Cover Supervisor for The Becket School
. The role involves ensuring high‑quality learning experiences when the usual teachers are away, managing classroom behaviour, facilitating planned activities, and leading lessons for KS3 and KS4 students with occasional work at KS5.

Employment Details
  • Fixed‑term role from January 2026 to 31 August 2026.
  • 21.75 hours per week, term time only.
  • Primarily KS3 and KS4 students, occasional KS5.
  • Salary: £13,176 – £13,818 per annum (OLOL Band 3; Scale Points 6‑9).
Responsibilities
  • Supervise students in KS3, KS4 and occasional KS5, working on preset learning activities in the absence of a teacher.
  • Be caring, supportive and committed to achieving excellent results.
  • Make a positive difference to students and foster excellent relationships.
  • Believe that every young person can achieve exceptional things, whatever their starting point or circumstances.
  • Promote the well‑being of students, providing guidance and support, and inspire learning and progress.
  • Be approachable and professional, fostering excellent relationships.
