Link3 Recruitment are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Substitute Teachers to support a range of local secondary schools across the NG12 area. We work in close partnership with schools requiring day-to-day, short-term and occasional longer-term cover, offering flexible opportunities to suit a variety of schedules, experience levels and teaching backgrounds.

We are looking for qualified teachers who are passionate about supporting students' learning, can adapt quickly to new classroom environments and feel confident delivering lessons across a range of subjects.

This Substitute Teacher role offers a high level of flexibility, with full-time or part-time work available. Positions begin on a temporary basis, with the potential for longer-term or permanent opportunities for candidates who are a strong fit.

Successful candidates will be committed, engaging and confident educators who can deliver high-quality lessons and maintain positive standards of behaviour. Being approachable, adaptable and having a good sense of humour are highly valued qualities.

• Delivering pre-planned lessons set by the class teacher
• Ensuring pupils remain focused and complete assigned work
• Creating a calm, purposeful and productive learning environment
• Managing classroom behaviour in a positive and effective manner

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a strong understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
• Demonstrate enthusiasm with a positive, proactive attitude
• Have a genuine interest in working with young people
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote a safe learning environment
• Use effective classroom management strategies
• Be confident covering a range of subjects and adapting to different school settings

• A valid Right to Work in the UK, verified during the compliance process
• An Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) prior to starting, unless registered on the Update Service (cost of a new DBS is covered by the applicant)
