Salary

£25 per hour (unqualified teacher status) £36 per hour (qualified teacher status or significant demonstrable industry experience)

Role

Carlt le Willows Academy is looking to appoint a Maths Tutor to join our academy in February 2026 on a casual as and when required basis.

Responsibilities

As a Tutor, you will support identified students, either in small groups or on a one to one basis.

Results

With a consistent record of high academic attainment, Carlton le Willows remains one of the top performing schools in the area, achieving the best ever results in the school's history this summer. Results for 2025 saw 85% of students achieve a Grade 4 or above in English and Maths, compared with a 65% national average. In total 69% of students secured a strong pass of a Grade 5 or above in those two core subjects far exceeding the national average of 46% and meaning we are placed well above similar schools nationally.

A level students in our high performing sixth form also celebrated strong results with more than 91% of the cohort securing a place at their first choice university, retaining our reputation for academic excellence post 16.
