Who

we need

You’ll be at the forefront of our digital transformation, delivering the training and coaching that helps staff across Nottingham College unlock the full potential of Microsoft 365. Your role is to inspire, support and upskill colleagues—turning technical possibilities into practical classroom reality. Key challenges and opportunities include:

  • Creating training that sticks – Develop engaging, accessible workshops and resources that work for diverse staff with varying confidence levels
  • From theory to practice – Support curriculum teams to embed MS365 sustainably into their teaching, ensuring digital tools genuinely improve learning rather than just adding complexity
  • Building digital confidence – Deliver workshops, 1:1 coaching and classroom training as part of our "Nottingham College Digital Educator" programme
  • Championing sustainability – Promote awareness of digital carbon footprint and help staff use technology in environmentally responsible ways
  • Staying current – Keep pace with MS365 updates and new features, translating these into practical opportunities for teaching staff
What you’ll bring

We’re looking for an inspirational trainer who can demystify technology and make people genuinely excited about using it. In a sentence: you’re technically proficient, pedagogically sound, and passionate about empowering others. Essential qualities:

  • Excellent working knowledge of the MS365 suite and proven experience delivering technology training workshops
  • Strong instructional design skills—you know how to create training materials that are accessible, inclusive and actually work
  • The ability to explain technical concepts in plain English, adapting your approach to different confidence levels
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with genuine enthusiasm for building others’ digital capabilities
  • Experience working in an education setting—you understand the pressures and priorities of teaching staff
