English Second Language Teacher – Cosmo

Cosmo, based in East Sussex, England, offers a flexible, online teaching opportunity for ESL students in Singapore and Hong Kong. The role involves delivering 50‑minute, one‑on‑one lessons, building a welcoming environment, and maintaining professional communication with students, parents, and Cosmo staff.

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit class feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K‑12 in ELA
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum
• Experience teaching ESL learners
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1
• Available between 8 – 2 PM GMT Monday through Friday or 5 AM – 2 PM GMT weekends
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability per week
• Access to a private and quiet location
• Passion for helping students learn
• Currently located in the UK
• Positive traits: approachable, patient, adaptive, considerate, enthusiastic, reliable

The pay rate is $20 USD per class plus additional incentives.
