As a Supply Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with school policies and the national curriculum, covering both planned and unplanned teacher absences. You will manage classrooms effectively, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils. This role requires flexibility across all Key Stages, from Early Years to Key Stage 2, and the ability to adapt to different subjects, year groups and teaching styles.
Day-to-day duties include following lesson plans provided by the class teacher and, when necessary, using your initiative to prepare your own. Availability at short notice is essential, as teachings may range from same-day emergency cover to pre-booked absences such as PPA time or training days.
- Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2 is required.
- The ideal candidate will show a positive and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Must demonstrate strong classroom management skills to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential (or willingness to obtain one).
- Both ECTs (Early Career Teachers) and FQTs (Fully Qualified Teachers) are welcome.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
