Our member school based in Nottingham is currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team within the coming weeks.
Your responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant:- Getting the classroom ready for lessons and clearing away afterwards to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Assisting Teachers in preparing the lesson materials and school equipment
- Recording and reporting a pupil's progress to the Teacher
- Helping pupils stay focused during class hours.
- Supervising group activities, sports events, and school outings
- Helping Teachers manage student behaviour.
- Looking after children who are unwell or upset.
- Providing a healthy and safe learning environment for children
Required:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or a relevant Childcare / Teaching qualification.
- Experience working with children.
- Leading weekly pay, with the amounts to scale.
- Enhanced Pension Contributions
- Health & Wellness Service, including 24-hour GP Access and Mental Health Stress counselling.
- Complementary continued training, including Safeguarding.
At Schools Mutual Services, we regard safeguarding as a top priority, and all our staff undergo rigorous interviews and reference checks. You must undergo an Enhanced DBS check if you fail to have a valid certificate.
Upon registration, our candidates will be fully vetted. Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks, including an enhanced DBS check, referencing covering the last 2 years of employment, along with a verification of eligibility to work in the UK.
