Class Mate is working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in NG4 to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 1 with ASD and ADHD.

This is a full-time, long-term role for someone who is patient, proactive and confident supporting children with additional needs. The school is looking for a TA who can build strong relationships, provide structure and consistency, and help pupils access learning in a positive way.

The Role:

* Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD and ADHD

* Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

* Adapting classroom activities to meet individual learning needs

* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

* Supporting transitions, routines and social development

* Promoting independence and confidence

The Ideal Candidate :

* Experience supporting children with ASD and/or ADHD

* Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

* Calm, resilient and nurturing approach

* Confident following EHCP targets and support plans

* Team player with good communication skills

* Relevant TA qualification desirable but not essential
