Smile Education is working with Trinity High School in Redditch, part of the Bordesley Trust, to welcome an enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisor to their team.

About the role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into classrooms to deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects when teachers are absent. Your main role will be to manage the classroom, keep students engaged, and ensure learning continues in a calm and productive environment. You’ll also help maintain school routines and provide support where needed around the school.

This is a great opportunity for anyone considering a future career in teaching, or for someone with experience in education, youth work, or a similar setting.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with young people (in education, youth work, coaching, or similar)
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to lead a classroom
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt to different situations
  • A positive, professional attitude and a genuine interest in supporting students’ development
