Attendance Administrator – Join Our Team

We are looking for an Attendance Administrator to join our team at Alvaston Moor Academy!

The postholder will provide a specialist admin service to help the Academy raise achievement by improving school attendance and punctuality. You will promote positive attitudes by students and their families towards education and ensuring that parents are made fully aware of their statutory responsibilities, particularly where there is persistent absence.

About the Trust

Alvaston Moor Academy is proudly part of Archway Learning Trust, previously Bluecoat Academies Trust was formed in April 2014 as a result of the very long and successful history of Bluecoat Academy.

The Trust comprises of Bluecoat Aspley Academy, Bluecoat Sixth Form, Bluecoat Wollaton Academy, Bluecoat Beechdale Academy, Bluecoat Primary Academy, Bluecoat Bentinck Primary Academy, The Nottingham Emmanuel School and Sixth Form, The Long Eaton School, Lees Brook Academy, Alvaston Moor Academy, Bluecoat Bentinck Primary Academy, Colwick st John the Baptist Primary Academy and the Bluecoat SCITT Alliance (School Centred Initial Teacher Training).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide an expert administrative service supporting the Academy’s attendance and punctuality strategy.

• Promote positive attitudes towards education and ensure parents are fully aware of their statutory responsibilities, particularly where there is persistent absence.

• Raise the standards of learning for all students and support the Academy life.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with students, staff and families.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

• Successful completion of an enhanced DBS check, Barred List check, receipt of satisfactory references and any other statutory checks required for the post.
