Job Title: Exams Invigilator (Casual)

Location: Nottingham

Salary: Actual salary £13.05 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible - ready for exams in 2026 or before

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Casual, as per rota and availability. Term time only. Must be available for most of May and June as well as other periods throughout the year for mock exams.

About The Exams Team

The team is responsible for setting up and running all internal and external exams in line with national guidelines. This includes preparing exam rooms, distributing papers, supervising students during exams, and ensuring a calm, secure environment. You’ll be supported by experienced staff and work closely with other invigilators to make sure every exam runs smoothly and fairly.

As part of the Exams Team at Ellis Guilford School, you’ll play a key role in helping students succeed.

No previous experience is necessary—full training will be provided. This role is ideal for someone who has plenty of flexible time and looking to contribute to their local community in a meaningful way.

Requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C and above or equivalent.
