Qualified Early Years Assessor

Location: East Midlands - covering Stamford, Nottingham, Leicester, Grantham. You must be comfortable with travelling up to 2 hours and potential overnight stays.

Full Time, 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Annual Salary: Up to £28,000 + car allowance £3,000, depending on qualifications and experience

• Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Early Years Childcare
• Managing a caseload of learners, conducting remote and face to face observations to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeships.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and completions.
• Supporting learners through the End Point Assessment Process.
• Organizing and maintaining documentation on learners' progress.
• Supporting, advising and motivating learners.
• Overcoming barriers to learning and adapting delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meeting Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, reviews, learner progression, quality paperwork and general administration.

• Must hold either a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
• A minimum of 1 year’s experience of assessing Childcare / Early Years Apprenticeship Standards.
• Must hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent/above) within Early Years.
• Solid occupational experience within the Childcare sector (Early Years - Nursery based).
• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Confident in using online systems/platforms/Teams.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.
