TP Tutors is looking for an inspiring Functional Skills Tutor to support learners in Nottingham (NG8) who need personalised guidance in Maths and English. Many of our students are working towards Functional Skills qualifications outside of mainstream education — and your support could be the turning point in their journey.
This isn’t just tutoring. It’s rebuilding confidence, unlocking potential, and helping learners take meaningful steps toward employment, further education, and independence.

- Knowledge of Functional Skills curriculum
- Patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) - A genuine passion for helping learners succeed
- £25–£30 per hour (depending on experience)
- Flexible weekday hours
- Approx. 13 weeks off per year
- Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
