West Lancashire Secondary School, located in West Lancashire, is seeking a passionate and creative Teacher of Art for a full‑time, short‑term role.
Start date:
9th June 2026. End date: 17th July 2026. The position will run for the duration of the short‑term contract, covering Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Have experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.
- Be able to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
- Be committed to supporting students of all abilities.
- Hold a Child Workforce DBS Certificate, or be willing to obtain one.
- Competitive daily pay rates – up to £232.56 a day, depending on experience.
- Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.
- Access to professional development opportunities, including safeguarding and behaviour management.
- Access to CPD and training opportunities.
