A supportive Primary School in Longsight, Manchester is recruiting a compassionate and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs across the school.

This rewarding role will involve supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them access learning, regulate emotions and develop confidence in a structured and nurturing environment.

The Role Includes:

Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
Supporting learning, communication and emotional development
Assisting teachers in adapting activities to meet individual needs
Encouraging independence and positive behaviour strategies
Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
Helping to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment

The Successful Candidate Will:

Have experience supporting children with additional needs (desirable)
Be calm, patient and adaptable in their approach
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Be passionate about helping children succeed
Work well as part of a supportive school team
