Monarch Education are currently recruiting for a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils within special educational needs (SEN) schools
.

This role is ideal for someone experienced in working with children with additional needs
, including Autism (ASC), SEMH, and complex learning difficulties
. You will play a key role in supporting pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them to achieve their full potential.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
• Support the delivery of tailored and differentiated learning
• Assist the class teacher in managing behaviour and engagement
• Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies
• Support pupils with communication, social and emotional development
• Promote independence and confidence in learners
• Create a safe, nurturing and structured environment

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working within SEN or specialist school settings
• Strong understanding of additional needs such as ASC, SEMH or MLD
• Good behaviour management skills
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Team Teach or similar behaviour management training
• Experience with communication tools such as PECS or Makaton
• Background in care, support work or alternative provision
