Salary: £6,431 actual. (£27,168.00 FTE - Grade
2)

What

You’ll Be Doing

At Nottingham Girls High School, we run a fleet of minibuses and MPVs to ensure our girls are safely and comfortably transported to and from school. We are looking for a minibus driver to join our professional and conscientious team. You will work 10 hours per week, term time only.

The Shift Patterns Are As Follows

Approximate driving times: 06:45 - 08:30 and then 15:15 - 17:25, plus daily pre‑start safety inspection, fueling and washing of the bus.

What skills and experience you’ll bring to the role
  • A valid Cat D1 classification on your driving licence plus an acceptable driving record
  • Be prepared to take the MIDAS qualification
  • The ability to react calmly in emergency situations
  • Over 21 years of age
  • Be prepared to take a suitable First Aid qualification
  • Maintaining good customer relations with parents and the school and contributing to a good atmosphere on the bus
