Overview

We are recruiting University students to serve as Teaching Assistants across Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch. The role offers flexible hours (minimum 2–3 days per week) and supports students who wish to gain experience in education while completing their degree. Working hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with a flexible schedule. It may lead to permanent positions as support staff or trainee teachers once the course is finished.

Assist with classroom support activities, working with children, and may involve responsibilities related to learning difficulties, behavioural difficulties, youth/community work or care work as required.

• Right to work in the UK.
• Up‑to‑date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.
• DBS registered to the update service, or willingness to apply for an enhanced DBS with GSL Education.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Successful completion of all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
