Overhead Lines Instructor (Train the Trainer Opportunity) Manchester-based (90% local work) |?? £50,000 £ 63,654 (DOE) |?? Were working with a leading technical training provider who is looking for a time-served industry expert to step into an Instructor roleand theyll train you to be a trainer. This is ideal for someone who: ? Has solid overhead lines experience ? Is physically fit and enjoys practical work ? Wants to be home most nights (Manchester-based 90% of the time) ?

Is ready to pass on their knowledge to the next generation This is not a classroom-heavy role around 80% of your time will be spent delivering practical, hands-on training as follows:
Deliver high-quality practical training in overhead line construction & maintenance Support classroom-based learning when required Design and develop engaging training programmes Assess learners against industry standards (NVQ / Diploma / End Point Assessment) Ensure all training is delivered safely and in line with legislation Work closely with industry clients to meet training needs Support learners to achieve recognised qualifications We are keen to hear from applicants from the trade someone whos done the job and can teach it.

Essential skills: 10 years experience in electricity distribution / overhead lines Strong overhead line construction & maintenance background Previously held (or currently hold) relevant authorisations Good understanding of LV/HV systems Full UK driving licence Physically fit and comfortable working in practical environments Desirable (but can be developed):
Teaching / training qualification (e.g. PTLLS) Assessor qualification (D32/33 or equivalent) IOSH / NEBOSH or similar Dont tick every box?
