Monarch Education are recruiting a committed and ambitious English Teacher for a full‑time supply role in a secondary school based in the NG6 area. The position starts in September and will run for at least one term, with the possibility of continuing beyond.
This role sits within a supportive and collaborative English department in a school that is focused on improving outcomes and fostering a positive learning environment. It is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who wants to make a real impact over a sustained placement rather than short‑term cover.

You will plan and mark work in line with departmental expectations and contribute to the wider school community during your time in post.
We are looking for a qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge and recent experience within UK secondary schools. You should be confident managing behaviour and able to adapt your teaching to meet the needs of students of varying abilities. Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and strong Early Career Teachers looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive setting.
To be considered, you must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification, and either hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
