Job Title: Headteacher Independent Special School (Autism & SEMH)
Location: Stanton-on-the-Wolds, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £53,000 £ 65,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
About the School
Our brand-new independent special school, Lynwood School
in Stanton-on-the-Wolds, Nottinghamshire, will provide a nurturing and personalised education for up to 25 students with Autism and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the school from its very beginning, shaping its ethos, curriculum, and culture.
The Role
We are seeking an inspirational Headteacher with proven leadership in special education to:
- Lead the school through its pre-opening and launch phase.
- Develop and implement a high-quality, individualised curriculum.
- Recruit, lead, and motivate a small but dedicated staff team.
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, wellbeing, and outcomes for students.
