We are looking for a passionate and motivated Hospitality & Catering Instructor to support the delivery of practical, hands‑on training at our vibrant Nottingham Campus (Woodborough Road). This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by helping our learners to develop essential life and industry skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.
What you will be doing- Supporting the delivery of engaging, practical hospitality and catering sessions
- Enabling learners with SEND to access vocational learning and develop independence and employability skills
- Teaching and supporting core skills, such as food preparation, kitchen safety, customer service, and teamwork, whilst embedding employability, health and wellbeing, and digital skills into sessions
- Assisting in the running of a coffee shop–style training environment for real‑world learning
- Ensuring safe working practices in line with food hygiene and health & safety standards
- A relevant qualification in hospitality/catering or significant industry experience, and knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety, and industry standards
- The ability to motivate and engage learners through practical, hands‑on activities
- Strong instructional and organisational skills with a calm, supportive approach
- Experience of supporting individuals to develop practical or vocational skills
- Resilient, empathetic, and committed to inclusive practice
- Experience of working with SEND learners
- Level 2 English and Maths (or willingness to work towards within 12 months)
- Education and Training Level 3 or 4 (or willingness to work towards within 12 months)
Monday – Friday – 8:45 am – 4:45 pm

This role will involve working across both of our Nottingham sites:
Woodborough Road and Forest Road West.
This role involves regulated activity. All successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
