About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Maths department for a motivated and organised individual to serve as Campus Manager of Maths at our Adams campus. You will be a teacher with a Maths specialism, expected to motivate colleagues, raise attainment across a wide range of students, and lead the development of schemes of work while monitoring the Quality of Education delivered within the area.
Keyresponsibilities
- Motivate and support a team of Maths teachers to deliver high quality teaching and learning.
- Develop and monitor schemes of work and the Maths curriculum.
- Maintain the Quality of Education delivered across Maths subjects.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Principal, the English and Maths leadership team and cross‑college teams such as MIS.
- Build and sustain supportive working relationships across the college.
- Specialism in Maths and a proven track record of motivating colleagues.
- Experience in a leadership role within a Maths department or an equivalent role in another phase or sector of education.
- Strong interpersonal and proactive working style.
- Ability to form supportive relationships and collaborate with senior leadership.
- Competitive salary: £38,482 – £43,794 per annum FTE.
- Pro‑rated breakdown: £21,611 – £22,703 per annum (Campus Manager role) and £16,871 – £21,091 per annum (Lecturer role).
