About the Role/You

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals that are passionate about high quality care and education for children. You will join a team of professionals caring for children of students and staff at the university. We are located on the beautiful University Park campus with some stunning natural features, which also allows us to offer our forest school on the doorstep.

Main duties include:

You will work within a team that seeks to secure bonds with children and their families that then supports our little ones in achieving outstanding outcomes. We aim to offer the most fun and exciting opportunities possible whilst preparing them for their next adventures. This is where you will use your in-depth knowledge and experience to deliver exhilarating and thought-provoking learning opportunities for children, using the indoor and outdoor environment as the third teacher.

Your experience with supporting children with English as an additional language is of benefit but not essential.

It is a requirement of the post that a satisfactory enhanced disclosure is obtained and that all employment checks are met prior to employment.

Hours of Work

The role is for 23.4 hours (3 days), Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.00 am to 6.00 pm (shift system). Some flexibility. An in-depth induction will support you in your role.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend induction training courses which will run each month, Monday to Friday on University Park Campus. Further details will be given at interview.
