Teacher of Psychology and Health & Social Care

Role Overview

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, passionate and inspirational teacher of Psychology and Health and Social Care that has excellent subject knowledge and is able to contribute to continued improvements in progress and student attainment. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner and be enthusiastic about the achievement of students in this subject. The ability to consistently teach inspirational lessons will be supported by our fit for purpose facilities and resources and excellent training and development opportunities on offer.

• Deliver GCSE and A-level Psychology, Health and Social Care lessons for KS4 and KS5.
• Provide high quality teaching and support students to achieve excellent attainment.
• Contribute to continued improvement in student progress.
• Possibility to teach AQA GCSE Sociology, AQA A Level Sociology and/or WJEC Level 3 Applied Diploma in Criminology depending on prior experience.
• Encourage motivation and enthusiasm among pupils.

Excellent subject knowledge in Psychology, Health and Social Care; strong classroom practice; ability to inspire and motivate students; effective communication skills; and a proven commitment to raising standards of learning for all students.
