* Print Bricknell Primary School is looking to appoint an experienced Cover Supervisor to provide cover across the school in the absence of teaching staff. This is a temporary fixed term appointment until 31 August 2027 in the first instance.

The candidate must have experience of working across the primary phase, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all stake-holders. Our school requires the candidate to be flexible, creative and have a sound knowledge of behaviour management strategies, including responding at an early level of difficulty. The candidate will be required to work well in an established team, working reflectively on a daily basis to modify and adapt practice according to pupils’ needs.

Salary:
Grade 6, Point 14 29,540 - Point 19 £ 32,061 pro rata for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm, term time plus 5 training days (39 weeks per year). This is a fixed term appointment until 31 August 2027 in the first instance.

This would be a valuable opportunity for an ECT to gain experience teaching in an outstanding school environment.

• have experience of working in a range of year groups across the primary phase
• have high expectations of pupils achievement
• have a solid understanding and experience of working with children with SEND
• have successful experience undertaking classroom supervision
• possess good communication skills with pupils and staff alike
• be willing to undertake CPD
• be a team player with a positive outlook
• be driven by the needs of our pupils
• have an ability to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors.
