English Teacher

Teacher Active is working closely with secondary schools throughout Nottingham that are seeking motivated and committed English Teachers for September starts. These schools offer supportive leadership teams, excellent facilities, and welcoming environments where teachers are encouraged to develop their careers while helping students reach their full potential.

We are recruiting an English Teacher to work across a range of secondary schools from September. The successful English Teacher will deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, assess and monitor student progress, and create an engaging learning environment that encourages achievement and confidence. This English Teacher opportunity includes both short-term and long-term placements, allowing the successful English Teacher to gain valuable experience in a variety of school settings.

We are looking for a dedicated English Teacher with strong curriculum knowledge, excellent classroom management, and a genuine passion for English education.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• The ability to plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
