Are you looking for a permanent Cover Supervisor role within a supportive secondary school where you can make a real impact both inside and outside the classroom?

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a Good mainstream secondary school in Nottingham that is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and a welcoming ethos, encouraging staff to play an active role in the wider school community through strong pastoral support and extracurricular activities.

The school is looking to appoint a permanent Cover Supervisor from September. The successful Cover Supervisor will deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, maintain a positive learning environment, support students' progress, and contribute to the school's pastoral care and extracurricular programme.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

Experience working with secondary-aged students in a school or similar setting

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Strong communication and organisational skills

The confidence to deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4

A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support pastoral initiatives and extracurricular activities

A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential
